    Account size is all relative to HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO MAKE. Larger the account, the larger positions you can take = more $$$ on profitable trades. It's all up to you depending on your risk profile. No one can answer this question except yourself.

    What should newbies focus on?

    Trading newbies should stick to one particular play at first, then expand into others. For example, start first on trading stocks that are moving because of earnings. Then next, start trading stocks that are making new highs or new lows. Etc.

    To calculate your daily HTB borrow fee: (Price of security x shares) x borrow rate / 360. For example, on 1000 shares of SNAP it will be -> ($21 x 1000) x 0.80 / 360 = $46.67 per day to remain short SNAP on a daily basis.

    I agree. Leveraged ETFs for the individual investor spell disaster in the long term based on they are structured. If they go against you, it takes more of a %-gain to make them go back up how much they went down.
