    FED says "Hold my beer"

Doesn't really matter. The stage has been set.

    FED says "Hold my beer"

FED has this under control (so they say) so here it comes ... Are those nested H&S bottom reversals valid? Holy Cow.

Active ingredient in cannabis protects aging brain cells

I cracked my Lumbar4 Vertabra in 1988 (bad cycling crash). I'm just several months into the THC therapy world. The anesthesiologist in town told me to try it. Best thing so far. And nobody is threatening to gouge my eyes out.

Active ingredient in cannabis protects aging brain cells

Seems there is a lot more going on with that THC than many would like to admit. Reminds me of a college course I once took. The main focus of the course was that through out history, mankind has had the temerity to think that 90% of all scientific topics have been FULLY examined. And if...

Ex-US congressman among 9 charged in insider trading cases

This whole thread is beyond stupid. If stockbrokers are not allowed to trade on insider info, why can lawmakers do it? Lawmakers (with powers of subpoena) no doubt get much better inside information. And that's why getting elected to Washington is a pathway to a very comfortable retirement

    Commoditys Have Rolled Over Enough

As with all those who host cocktail parties in Switzerland, it behooves the FED to show the composure of a bank that has their finances in order. "We are not Venezuela here". The FED showing "Yield Curve Control" at the end of the week.

    Commoditys Have Rolled Over Enough

It doesn't have to be a $COPPER bottom, but very well could be. The real question is, are we in a bear phase of a commodity bull market (a simple correction), or just one more bull phase of an unending equity and bond bull market.

    Commoditys Have Rolled Over Enough

the chart I posted has monthly bars. The implications of monthly bars is much more serious than the shorter time frames.

    Commoditys Have Rolled Over Enough

$COPPER has a huge base, and hasn't really broken out yet (> $4.50/lb.) When copper does break out, imagine Powell trying to get positive GDP (non-recessionary), with $copper soaring. I don't think so.

    USD MAGA

In regards to an out-of-control national debt, yes, inflation is definitely the answer. But how much inflation is required? And can that be administered safely by CBs?

    USD MAGA

The only reason the $USD is so strong is that coupons on the Treasuries are going up (and Sovereigns around the world hope they keep going up). But we are probably already at "max pain" (for interest expense on the Treasury income statement) beyond which higher rates can't be paid. Although the...

    Russia Defaults On Foreign Debt

The U.S. was arguably the king of Natural Resources (Energy + mining/metals + agriculture) through to the middle of the 20th century, maybe into the 1950s or 1960s. But that is certainly over now, and that leadership has transitioned to Russia. Every Sovereign has a printing press, but none of...

House speaker Pelosi discloses trades in Apple and Microsoft

"Insider trading by a member of Congress is a crime." https://www.forbes.com/sites/insider/2020/05/26/how-senators-may-have-avoided-insider-trading-charges.html I suspect that getting answers about insider trading in Washington depends on which party is in power, at the time. If insider...

    The Capital Assault Hearings

The statements that you are making could very easily fall into the general category of "Ad Hominem" attacks. This is a discussion board of investments, or otherwise, things that may affect investments. Fictions should never appear here, regardless of how satisfying that may be to some people.

PPI m/m is getting published tomorrow. Any thoughts?

I would not invest in stocks just because bonds stop going down. I would prefer to buy equities that can go up when rates go up. 10 year T-Note running low on gas on the recent bear market move.
