Thanks for correcting me :) I just wanted to check whether I've got all MAs that forms strong R/S. Yesterday(=Today in US time), EURUSD depreciated... like FON said, I fliped through all time frames to anticipate the next price destination and 30minutes and daily chart agreed that it would be...

From my experience, finding a safe place to set a stop loss is always hard. What I hate to see is although ma definitely gives an idea of where S/R, sometimes I still loss cos of the hammer with a long tail or prices attempt to make higher high (low) with less buyers (sellers). Now, with A/D, I...

I also use longer ma 60, 95 and 260 on both small and large time frames. You sound very knowledgeable and experienced stock trader. Thank you for sharing your experience. If I start trading on stock market, I'll surely pay attention to what you have mentioned and will start to participate in...

Monthly chart, ..., I don't look at the monthly chart for FX trading. The daily is the lowest frequency time frame I monitor. But for stock trading e.g. GE, monitoring monthly stock price movement might be important. I don't trade stocks but I may have to practice trading stocks cos I will be...

Although I use ma13 since most of advanced level traders seem to use ma18~20, I will try it from today!

Yep, so I mainly use 1 minute and 1 Hour time frames to wait for daily 123 high and low; and I then monitor 15 and 30 minutes to observe how a trend develops using ma60. Still in 1 minute, I often get into losing position if I don't monitor A/D pattern. I got this idea from my research and my...

ma60 is one of my key moving average levels too :) Is there any reason that you use std dev instead of BB?

How do you establish a trend with moving average? I find that relying solely on moving average to establish a trend is not safe for swings so I also use A/D to find ,for example, dip in uptrend. It gives a reliable signal.

So you only use moving average to determine S/R ? it does not seem any of your moving average can be used to determine the current sentiment. For example, I use something like ma50 to determine the dominating sentiment.

I don't know why...and I can't explain why moving average forms some resistance/support level with a theory (e.g. perhaps anchor theory? - people evaluate prices with moving average level to find out whether a current price is under/overpriced)? Yesterday EURUSD depreciated when it reached...

    Recession in 2017 after Briexit?

1997 Asian financial crisis, 2007 Global financial crisis ... I don't know whether this is just a coincidence but until Briexit, I thought there would not be another crisis in another 7th year .... but is this an initial indicator that there might be another crisis in 2017? I feel for the...

Turning $15K credit card debt into financial freedom

I did not pay attention to EUR much but I did anticipate that GBP would depreciate significantly when it reaches/crosses 1.5000 cos this was the dangerous rounding number resistance level. But I did not anticipate GBP to depreciate incredibly so much after GBP poll. Although I am a international...

    Brexit - The aftermath

Oh, Come on , you did not take the poll that seriously (or you did not expect that to happen so there was an anticipation). As a result, you made a "decision to go to bed", so there should not be a regret cos there was a decision.

It's highly unlikely to appreciate to the point where your arrow is pointing. The next appreciation will make a pullback before it depreciates again (before there is an uptrend)

Due to time constraints cos of my study and work, I still have a long way to go. But whenever I have spare time, I will carry on the research. I only have been testing patterns that Jack Hersey provided on ET cos it saves my time. I'll probably have to review other old threads too. But at...
