Building a software is tough unless u know what area to be in, know how to model the trade with proper risk parameters, know how to backtest and then finally how to visualize what are u thinking of doing?

how are the spread margins compared to the CME SPAN margin with IB (i know outrights are more) but what about calendar spreads or even more complex spreads - do they margin appropriately?

I have spent many hours on these forums and others and have learnt a lot. I have also progressed as a spread trader and feel that i can contribute effectively to the right group. I mainly trade energy and yield spreads and still learning/modeling/backtesting. Looking for a good group or people...

One other thing like someone mentioned might be good to select 1 platform but do some research on what u should pick - will this only be for spreads? Will u trade outrights? Do you need automated trade management? Autospreader??

You said you bought a course. Without going into details can u comment on the theme- is it seasonal, is it TEch analysis? Is it trend breakout or mean reversion? Is it calendars or flys or more complex? Point is to not squeeze info from you but for u to think whether you believe in the system...
