This iron condor strategy seems to be a sure thing for small profit.

Sometimes it does move quite a lot. Stay on your toes, or it's blowout time! Good luck to all. From a post in Coach's SPX thread: 07-11-05 06:58 PM For data miners and SPX traders, here are the Expiration-to-Expiration percentage changes for SP500 for the last 10 years. The...

    LabView

I guess there might not be many disadvantages. Heck, C is C, for the most part (talking Lab Windows here). And I think controls can be easily brought into MS Visual Studio anyway if you wanted to. But I'm thinking in the future about maintanance and also about the user base. If you have...

    LabView

Used LabView years ago (10+?) for instrumentation and avionics simulation systems and built a couple simple BlackScholes option graph programs (LW CVI). The simple and powerful charting interfaces were great, but I've since built all my apps in Visual Basic. Been using VB for several years...

Trader P/L 2006 Questions and Discussion

Spot on. I make a hellofa lot of good trades, with a nice win %, automated, but if I posted them before or after the fact it would be fairly simple (for an experienced trader) to find out most of what I was doing. I don't care what anybody sez, posting your exact trades and or methodology...

    Tired of reading

Strongly agree. I think Reminiscences is still very relevant from the trader's psych point of view. It proves that basic human nature - the underpinnings of markets - haven't changed in darn near 100 years. This should give hope to people who look for "inefficiencies" between the lines...

It is IMPOSSIBLE to make money in the markets

Sorry, l'll guy. Saying it can't be done doesn't change the facts. The private trader can make a fine living in the markets. But this will not sink into a concrete head...so what the hell:

It is IMPOSSIBLE to make money in the markets

If you guys that are struggling, only knew how easy it really is... Technique and methodology-wise, anyway. But as has been mentioned, the psych part is the tough one. Good trading to all.
