Just for arguments sake, I believe the largest 10 trading day move since 1/1/1990 on the SPX was from 7/9/02 until 7/23/02. It was 16.28% or 155.13pts from 952.83 to 797.70. Using todays SPX close of 1267.32, a 16.28% move would be 206.32 pts taking you down to 1061.00. Pts mean nothing...

FWIW, I calculated SDs based on how many trading days left to expiration, find the average percentage move for that time period, find the SD of the data which produced that average for that time period, add and/or subtract 1,2,3,4,etc SDs from that average and apply it to the current price. All...

The problem with this firm that I have heard is the 50+ pip slippage and reporting delays that occur at times on stop orders during news announcements.
