Solid range trading opportunities going on in GBPNZD. See attached 30-minute chart.

The spreads may be terrible but the thing is ripe for a correction of at least 500 - 1000 pips.... it's already run a nice course this AM. Added to GBPNZD short. Broke 1hr DMAs... looking for break of 4hr.... and then it runs straight down

Opened minor short positions in GBPNZD and USDCAD. Looking to scale in on the trades over the next two weeks. USDCAD Been contained by significant DMA on weekly chart. Coming up against resistance on daily DMA. Very strong bearish signal but need confirmation for scale-in. Profit target...

I'd be surprised to see 2.70 but I could definitely see mid-70s. I'm opening a short once I watch it open, hopefully run up a few hundred pips to 287.

After taking a look on a weekly chart I'm a heavy short.

I closed out all my positions until Sunday. NZD and EURAUD. Looney wants to appreciate... it's begging to. I'd prefer to see a close above 2375 on a daily but I'm probably going to enter a short on Sunday once I see where it opens. I like the looney against the USD for a long term holding as...

A couple charts to follow up on ideas. Long EURAUD with a tight stop on a breakout play. Short NZDUSD on a trend-following play.

NZD may be paying the most but there's a reason for it. NZDUSD is looking to make relatively new lows (see attached). I wouldn't doubt that there's potential for AUDNZD to make new highs or at least reach the previous... the chart looks like a breakout may be brewing. I'm definitely going to pay...

As a side topic, does anyone here use correlation in their FX trades to hedge risk?

I was wondering the same thing haha. I've been posting my ideas in the Idea Origination thread and don't feel like doing both. That's why I'm gone.

Thanks for pointing the pair's situation out. I'm going to watch it for a little longer.

It may have been due to the world's realization that other countries were worse off economically than previously expected, although the timing of that I'm unclear on.

EURAUD short opportunity Looking for 100-150 pips. 2hr chart looks to be at/near the upper end of the current range where it typically hits strong resistance. Sloppy chart but gets the point across. Entered at 1.9936, will double position if it gets to 2.00... I don't like averaging...
