Praetorian2, when watching a listed stock that is diving... like off 15 to 20 percent do you assume the specialist will try to walk it back up soon to unload some of his inventory?I mean, he has been buying it all the way down, after the pace slows and the panic abates is the specialist likely...

Yes, that presents issues for the really thin ones. We don't need to pick each others pockets. ;)

Is there enough interest here to start tracking these trades real-time in a room? It might be very productive to have a half dozen people each closely monitoring a couple of potential reversals. Mr. Tharp, do you have chat set-up on your site? What do you guys think?

Thanks, I'll do that in the AM if it seems to persist. The stock was PRD as it came off that double bottom at about 8:00 AM PST. I deleted the entry for Best_ECN and made a new ticker for PRD just using the drop down BEST selection. The spread narrowed down to what I was seeing on the prints...

It makes me a little leary.....

Def, why do I see such a spread in this? The prints I'm watching are only a couple cents apart but the B/A on Best_ECN may be off by 12 to 14 cents? Any idea what is going on? Thanks

It asked me to do the upgrade too... I did it and it seemed that it was working OK. BUT... none of my buys were filled. I tried to route best for 100 shares of CSCO several times and it was not filled for 45 seconds and the price was way off by then. Tried several others and all to no avail...
