the built in CME Globex has correct time stuff, so just use that (QT uses Eastern). Once you configure a new copy of the timeframe, you would have to explicitly change which one a given chart uses right on the chart (yellow clock button on the toolbar)

this happens around symbol rollover. Their cumulative volume data does not match the backfill volume data, causing the volume spikes. Been going on for years. nothing can be done about it. It usually calms down after a week or so.

Velenje, basically, QT detects disconnects and automatically reconnects, switching servers if needed. Normally if you have 2 instances running, they will automatically adjust so one is on one server and the other is on the other. But if you have more instances running than there are server IPs...

do you have 2 copies of QT or something else running with the same account? it sounds like the connection is getting kicked off because of another connection with the same login

Seems that it doesn't like something with your settings. It definitely is not a general issue. save your STOCKS.INI and PORT.XML files, then delete them and try starting QT again. That shoul;d get it running. If so, you can try restoring one of the files and try again, to see which one is...

advanced screener is gone. The data for that was coming from the TD Ameritrade servers. They killed that.

Pakard, EPIC Codes - just "Symbols" in our terminology 1) Not sure what you mean by "Database", but you can have different lists in QT (portfolios) and each one can have a different source 2) I guess you mean like a "Clear All Data" but be portfolio/list specific instead of ALL data?
