I can guarantee that will not fix the problem. the stocks.zip in that link just updates STOCKS.EXE where as the login is handled in amtrade.lgs. There is absolutely no way STOCKS.EXE update would have anything to do with it.

vireya, did you ask TDA if your account can access the API? Changing some stuff on an account, like enabling advanced margin or some option trading choices can make it so it will not be usable with the API, which is a requirement for QT

I just tried backfill with Stockwatch and it worked OK. Try this: right click on a chart and select: CLEAR THE CHART\Clear All then try backfill again
