Rick, As you pointed out in the snippet, 25% of the tapes you referenced do not fit the guideline you stated yesterday. I took as copious notes as I was capable of in NYC and managed to miss the remarks about only drawing tapes, or accelerated tapes, to price bars that have increasing volume...

    Iterative Refinement

Most confused this a.m. PFC told me we completed an FFT yesterday so today we would be heading down. First bar of the day didn't disabuse me of that notion, but I entered too hastily on the 3rd bar only to get chopped up until 10:40 finally opened. As is my way, since I was discombobulated...

As is the norm, another day of bludgeoning from the market. The result of clinging to outdated and incorrect information. I will highlight two. Exhibit #1: Holding long on the 14:10 bar. Why? Because even though we had two consecutive closes outside a lateral we did not have a return to...

I too was expecting to make our way to a Pt2 this a.m. in the form a retrace of some sort. A full up traverse was indeed a surprise. In addition to my other points of confusion, the completion of the down traverse/channel was also PA which delayed my reversal point.

Not comfortable with these annotations, but I all the other ways I tried seem worse.

This makes all the difference doesn't it? Romanus may be spot on, but his take just doesn't jive to me. Perhaps I cling to a parochial view of the method, but we had completion of a sequence, an SOC, a B2B, a BO of RTL on IBV, DRV and finally IBV out of the widened channel. In the end it...

    Iterative Refinement

Certainly an interesting snippet from Spyder. I certainly cannot comment on his thought process there as my understanding of the methodology is far more rudimentary. However, I would note two things about the snippet that appear to differ from the period of discussion from Friday and therefore...

I determined this was a FFT that retraced and then formed an OB and Pt3 up. The Pt2 of the FFT just didn't land near its usual place.

Romanus, I cannot recall if it was you who replicated Spyder's chart of the 20th while it was displayed. If so, do you mine posting the annotations you copied so we can all see how Spyder saw the market? If you are not the one who replicated the chart, perhaps the person who did can post it.

I am trying to attach a chart to a post that was formatted in "bmp" and it just wouldn't take. Does anyone know how to convert this to jpeg or maybe what my other options are to properly attach this bmp chart? Much obliged. Guava

It was well worth the trip just to tell Spyder in person, thank you and how much I appreciate his unyielding efforts. Despite his modesty regarding his role in all our ability to tade confidently and profitably it really is all because of him. Thank you once again. The info and additional...
