yes. SMH and all the other holders don't allow odd lots or mixed lots. they trade in even multiples of 100 lots only. IB shouldn't have accecepted your order in the first place... a while back (maybe a year or so) BRUT used to allow odd lots on SMH but that is no longer the case...

in the case of GPS the stock opened well below yesterdays close... it doesn't matter what price you put in, it's going to be re-priced... (so there won't be an illegal short...) ever noticed those enormous offers on the NYOB in the morning? Those orders are all re-priced... at least on...

scam shop? longhorns get real. you've never traded there. don't believe everything you read on ET... IMHO the software is pretty good these days. it's had it's moments but it's gotten way better over time. 100% payouts on average commissions for a seasoned trader who takes large moves...

it's possible but not likely... only the top 5-10 in the company can pull in those kinds of #'s... and that's out of well over 1000 traders... you have to ask yourself, can I be in the top 1%????? mnx

yeah I undetstand where you are coming from... the worst situations I find myself in are when I'm I've got a bunch of pending orders (for far more size than I ever want to take on) and either the system totally crashes or the worse scenario is when we lose connectivity to a particular route...

if you're not yelling and screaming at some point then you must trading too small... ;) mnx

thought I'd give an update... we called Merryl and they said the specialist thought he was doing me a favour and gave me a cancel... some favour, I got destroyed the next morning as the stock decided to plummet... anyways, they're going to block the cancels on our platform once the software...
