Just make it like amazon. Have a 5-star rating system. And when you click on the stars, it goes to the comments section. Require everyone to comment on WHY they rated the person the way that they did. (They can even include links to threads that support their opinion) Then, it's up to...

Well, I'd recommend seeing if there are any libraries out there that would let you do this. Why re-invent the wheel? Does anyone know of anything like these? Also, if it's just for your own use, why not just use your standard charting software... keep it running on your system when you are...

It's all in the way I set up my trading platform. RediPlus has some fields which I haven't seen on other trading platforms which really help. Granted, I do get more slippage than with just a few stocks, but the opportunity and diversification more than make up for it. Cash

In my experience of working with hundreds of traders, one answer is that traders don't take their trading seriously enough. They take a class and then start trading without really taking the time to learn their craft. What would the world be like if all professions did that: Brain Surgeons...

Interesting... I wonder if Psychology majors are any better dealing with Trader's Psychology. Either that or they recognize crazy before they get sucked into the whole business :eek:

I was wondering if people who went to college feel that their course of study helped them in their future trading career. As for myself, my college career was computer science and while it had nothing to do with finance, I use my computer background to enhance my trading.
