Far from an expert on this and if anyone wants to correct me then I'm definately all ears, but wouldn't a whole lot of shorts mean there's just as much risk of a blow out to the upside with all those shorts covering??

Murray, what was the slippage and commissions factored into these results (sorry if they were in there somewhere)? One other thing, I am looking at the quarterly breakdown page, and see 3 trades and 5 open trades as at 9/30/2010, and then 0 trades but 13 open trades for 10/26/2010...

fair enough. Guess it was just easier to see some of the biggerorders sitting on the price ladder because it wasnt so crowded.

Newbie question here, maybe not specifically related to Sugar.... But I am watch sugar at the moment and the price action is quite interesting. Spike up to the high and now it is stuck in about an 8 tick range for the past hour. a few big sell orders right on the high tick, just sitting...

I was watching HG a little earlier and there was a big spike down on about 1600 contracts on a 1 minute bar. (average vol around that was a couple of hundred contracts/minute) was this a) news? b) possibly a fat finger? c) just a typical open for copper?

usually the other way round.... maybe thats my edge.......
