well heres my thoughts for what its worth. Im an IB customer and have been on the wrong end of autoliquidation a couple of times (all my own fault). Once your account goes below 5% of requried margin you recieve a warning. when it goes negative auto-liquidation kicks in. It does not...

Thanks nazzdack. I know the yield curve is historically steep, but in specifically in regards to the 10-30 year section, how does this compare historically? does it just look flatter or is it actually flatter compared to historical averages? (just lookin for general information here)

Was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere that sells historical Futures Options Data ( mainly interested in IV). I know Ivolatility do, but wanted to shop around before purchasing. Ive checked out livevol, but they dont do futures at this point in time. Thanks

Guys, still very much coming to terms with the basics of how the current yield curve is and why it is where it is. As I think I understand it. the front end is held down by low interest rates and the yields further out are high due to the Treasury selling off longer term maturities to finance...

Thanks guys, Im actually using these ratios to compare between stocks. some stocks have a much higher gamma to theta ratio than others. all other things being equal Im trying to figure out if this is actually a reliable ratio to compare stocks.

Thanks for the reply. Guess I just threw them out there to illsutrate without really thinking. Probably oversymplifying things here but if I wanted to trade gamma, the more gamma I could get for my theta the better right? therefore I would want pick a stock with a@higher gamma/theta...
