What can trader do with the spike for CAC40 that happened today morning? Is this legal? Volatility picked-up, bla bla bla, obviosuly their system adjusted and I was closed 4110 and 4214 (corected to 4114, :-)) ?! Luckily, I was up but If I weren't I would be quite dumped.

ok, so we never saw 5300 and FDAX is on the bull run with today NFP numbers. Strong EUR is dumping DAX's progress to new highs. I do not know what would be consumer credit but are going to break 5900, most probably not today but I do not mind. So, brace for US open and then slowly buy it...

10% correction, this reminds me that last time GS said that fair value is 5650 and we went 5+% higher. This time we might go 5+% lower than correction. Yeah, they will be worthless, EU crisis, US transation tax, no prop trading for banks. Too many problems to resolve until mid march, :-).

Who knows what he does !? You enter long options and delta hedge it, you can underhedge, overhedge, it is up to you. Given last post with that last bunch of calls 6100-6250. If he was delta hedging he would have made money. If he was not hedging then he wouldn't (I guess but didn't check).

50% will only apply to the few earning over £150,000 a year. Majority pays 20-30% on average. What bother me more is 50% tax on bonuses above 25k.

We are close to the top and as we see 5800 holding quite well. I'm looking forward to longs as well but cautiously.
