If you are sure it is bull why don't you buy on dips. I also believe we are in bull however - european production all over europe dips - german wpi dips, I guess based on strong eur. We need to go down before christmas, :-).

Well, nobody expected that retail and industrial orders can sustain this recovery. Also euro was too expensive and they have to pursue some sort of QE as US to depreciate euro and prop-up inflation.

well, I never closed short position on dax, I was just buying hedges. I must be short cash DAX from 6500 or so. Hang seng gives me hangover as well, cca. 150 points loss with 40 spread. I guess we saw the same stupid opportunity, :-). I didn't realize that all US QE2 will go to China...

Well, why don't you go long dax, :-) I know you have to be like chicken and not good before us open but give it a try. It is difficult to piss against the wind.

At certain point they would need to sell to somebody. I've decreased leverage, DAX is quite stretched. I'm here preserving capital and prepared to step in anytime I see weakness. If there is nobody to sell it to what are they going to do? Maybe retail investors step in when the markets...

Maybe, I'll believe when I see the numbers Chinese news are on tap. As I see it China saved the bull run, if it went 2-3% down it would be another story.
