Nope. He trades Citi, IBM, TXN, TYC, Big Cap NYSE that move etc. Just scalping like crazy. I hope you do not assume we are actually holding for more than 20-45 seconds at a time. In and out faster than you can say "Book me 15 cents on my shares." Any market, any time, as many times...

I traded 288,950 shares on 8/1/02 that is my record for one day with Citibank. I am not big fry either, I know a guy that does a 1 million to 1.5 million a day in volume!

nitro, I was trading Citi today and for a long time it was between 29 and 29.10 back and forth....had a couple of good moves but I only traded 75,000 shares today. Last week my avg day was 150k to 285k a day. So yes! It felt like the day was inching by....:)

I am trying it out, I like it but I have not switched over my trading computer at the office...

I am thinking more of a team that is composed of different trading styles, like spread traders, scalpers, intraday positions traders, etc. all working together. Between all of them, one of the strategies has to be working. Anyone out there do this?

I think you misunderstood my post...I whole heartedly agree with you. Our office works that way... I just meant that I was not asking anybody else out there for their strategies...:p
