Who profits when retail traders lose?

I feal the same way at this point. I have tried many strategies and lost enough money while trying them. Now I have a system that works well, I am getting more experienced and am making less mistakes and more profitable trades.

US Rep Says Probe Uncovers Oil Market Manipulation

In some way yes....but so is washington for allowing that stupidity. Detroit had the opportunity to provide ev's to the public years ago but killed their own success story because the bastards from the big oil industry wanted to make billions in profits and create a situation like we have this...

Argued what? YES the market can be manipulated. Did you only learn that lessson today? Do you know anything of politics? Washington fat cats are getting very nervous in an election year so they start making little parades of how they care about the consumer. Maybe oil crashes 50% tomorrow or...

    Mortgage rates are soaring

I think the banking industry is terminally stupid. "Let's see, more and more people can't make ends meet and are defaulting on their loans. I know! Let's jack up the rates higher so that even more people default making an already unbearable housing market even worse!" High fuel prices + no...

    Shale End All Our Problems?

GM and the oil industry made sure that EV's died a long time ago. GM instead opted for an era of SUV's. Look where that got them.

    Market is overbought

One commentator I actually listen to said "I spoke to 100 money managers and not a single one was bearish on oil, not one. You know what that means." Take it for what it's worth but oil feals very topped out at this point. The very day gold had topped at 1050ish or whatever it was, I...

    BS market

This is unsustainable. Stagflation at it's best. Coke had awesome earnings, "big deal". JP did better than expected, again "big deal". However, this might be saying that the market hit bottom the other month since todays beige book was bad news and the market still rallied on the earnings reports.

So the bottom came and went...

I think yesterday was a short term bottom, but there will be a much lower bottom in the future.
