    Reality for an Individual Trader

Something I've also said before...I read every damn thing I could get my hands on for years, but in the end I closed my mind off to any outside information and focused on pure price action and the natural dynamics of the markets...a deep intuitive type of observation with an open mind to any...

    Reality for an Individual Trader

Trade small, trade small, trade small...for a long time. I've said this so many times to help noobies save a lot of money! You will go through a learning curve and many market condition changes...lose the least amount of money you can until you get this down. If you need to make a good income...

    Fasting diet 'regenerates diabetic pancreas'

My best trick is to hold out until workout time, then have a big spoonful of unfiltered honey before the workout...energy boost that will satisfy the brain and help you workout harder and won't tax your body with digestion! I can't stand having that starving feeling and waiting for my workout...

What is your typical day trading like?

Typical day is boring...trading is very mechanical. I spend more time reading and thinking about investing more than trading each day. Not too many things influence my trading, but investing has a ton of influence from the everyday headlines...among other things.

    The end of ZIRP/NIRP era

I remember the crash of '87...I was an intern at a financial planning firm...my boss was throwing things at the wall and in tears...she was a mess. I called my broker (another firm) to sell half my mutual fund shares that day...it took a long time to actually talk to someone. I was called the...

Marc Faber says "avalanche of selling" coming

I would say...the worse the crises is to "Armageddon" the more someone would have to receive in gold to give up food! The more a farmer would think "things" will turnaround eventually, the more he'd feel good about the value of gold holding up? P.S. Not trying to be an ass here, but the piano...

Marc Faber says "avalanche of selling" coming

Makes you wonder what a desperate government is capable of? Would they force farmers to produce food...or would they temporarily seize farming land and offer food to starving people to work the land? Since countries have different quantity/quality of agriculture, I'm sure standing governments...

Marc Faber says "avalanche of selling" coming

It seems if farmers are willing to accept pianos in exchange for food, they would accept gold too!

Marc Faber says "avalanche of selling" coming

How did the farmers get paid? If the markets wiped out all the wealth and the currency became worthless, what did people pay the farmers with in exchange for the food? Just stuff (barter)? It seems the people would not have enough stuff of value worth trading for? Farmers don't want to go into...

I will gladly sell you $10,000 worth of ding dongs for $10,000 of gold right now! Apparently, both of us will feel more secure about the future if we do this trade...right? :wtf:
