Tweak the Black scholes forumula to find out IV at a certain price/expiry?

That's exactly what I was looking for! I know you do not suffer fools well, but would you be able to give me an example? Yes vega will help to calculate future price of an option with a 1% change in IV, but how much would the price of the underlying need to move to change IV by 1%? This is...

Support & Resistance levels , and moving averages are just meaningless lines on the chart.

Channels are typically ABC, WXY single or double corrections. The news will align with the wave or visa versa like a self fulfilling prophecy, so basically you can just ignore external factors. You could almost predict the news from the fed wouldn't be good because the wave needed to fulfil this...

    Excluding triangles. Prove me wrong.

Tweak the Black scholes forumula to find out IV at a certain price/expiry?

*Formula Why can't you edit the title? I want it to calculate the IV of an option, at a certain price of the underlying. For instance, if the underlying price hits 430, what will the IV be for the 432 call be if it is still 5 days DTE? From there I can use black Scholes to estimate the price...

So I don't use stops and I think the math supports this.

Well closed that for around $200 profits. Just goes to show you how crappy options are...even when you're really right. I could have held on for maybe $400 in the next couple days but too much risk on. Will go back to weekly ATM spreads.

So I don't use stops and I think the math supports this.

Ok so I just entered an Oct2 188 IWM call option. I expect to be out of the trade at 183/184 in the next 4 days or so. I actually don't mind being in a position over the weekend if I am confident in the direction. No stop as always. I am planning on holding this position over multiple nights...

So I don't use stops and I think the math supports this.

Only if you are talking cash settled options, and the R/W is usually around 3x worse for credit spreads.

    The fed

Any guesses where they are going with this? Based on TA I would say they are going to leave it flat...well atleast be quite doveish. This would be necessary for spy to continue in the upward direction to complete its extension. Kind of like a self full-filling prophecy I guess. Otherwise I...

0 commission trading plus options in Canada

I spoke too soon. No ability to use the underlying as a trigger. Also can't open up a spread as one trade...and no risk profile to calculate daily decay/profits etc. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I've been saying this since day 1! Anybody with an ounce of technical analysis can see that its a racket.

Option fees are $1.25. Do they allow one click strategies such as option spreads? What is the platform like? From the video it looks pretty basic which isn't terrible if they have the right features.

If you are in Canada you can still trade tos. It is miles ahead of any other platform I have used for options. For TA I use trading view and then just place the order on tos because you can place bracket orders that allow to set it and forget it. TD is apparently going back to the original tos...

So I don't use stops and I think the math supports this.

I been running it through and everything comes up a big nothing burger. Show me an example with current prices how you actually are profitable at expiry. Are we talking reverse iron condor/2 debit spreads or a synthetic long with a synthetic short?

So I don't use stops and I think the math supports this.

That can't be right. Essentially you are locking in a guarantied profit.

So I don't use stops and I think the math supports this.

Ok so a box spread is a synthetic long, and a synthetic short. Can somebody give me an example of this setup that shows a positive outcome at expiry? I tried it but showing as a loss at expiry: https://optioncreator.com/stwcjtb...
