Why would the average American tune into CNBC while the U.S. markets are closed? Most people don't know jack about our own markets, much less Europe and Asia.

I disagree. There were some good stocks that got caught in the mass selloff and there were stocks that were positive and near their highs of the day at the close. Some of those stocks were screaming buys. I was long two stocks the entire day yesterday and added some decent size right on...

That "rumor" made no sense. Why would someone come in and peg the offer for almost three points in less than one minute? Even if they were rumored to be getting bought out, it wouldn't make sense to move the stock 120% in 45 seconds. Looked like an obvious order entry mistake followed by...

Here we go again. OSTK finishes in the green and flytiger is back on the thread. Good thing OSTK only has a couple of up days each month, otherwise you would be a regular. :D Gotta love it when a stock spikes eight points in one minute....and only closes up .59 cents on the day. :p

That news service sucks ass. They never read company specific news until minutes after it's released. Almost every news story begins with...."Treat this as an update". What good is "news" if it's already minutes old?

Does that company ever beat earnings? Seems like they always start the earning season off with a miss.
