    does TOS support parallel processing

As far as I can tell TOS uses only a single core by default. There may be some java magic you could use to change that, but I haven't tried. Personally I don't see the benefit of them trying to use more as I'd guess that they're mostly network speed limited anyway.

Am i thinking about this right?

dagnyt either misread your post or you mis-typed your original. If you sold a 105 call and the spy is at 109, and the call has a value of 5.30 and a basis of 5.4 then.... It's actually $4 in the money (intrinsic value) And therefore has $1.30 of time value (extrinsic value) If it expired...

Yes, that's from the roll over. I have a feature request in to them to add a marker of some sort to the chart to indicate that in case people forget. I was refering to the dailies just being wrong. Make your daily candles "unfilled" to see all sorts of strange things in the /CL charts...

Futures charting on thinkorswim is a constant headache

Yeah, they're CL daily charts have been broken forever. They have highs that are lower than the closes and other strange things that shouldn't happen. I keep contacting them about it and they blame it on the data provider, which I kind of believe since it only seems to happen with /CL, but...

    Deep ITMC Question

I'm sure you'll get better replies but generally yes to your assumptions. As long as the option is far enough ITM (say .70 to .80+ delta) then vol and theta change will be minimal or non existent intraday and you'll only have to worry about not so great spreads in return for greater leverage on...

    5% - 10% profit per day trading

To me it seems the average hold time on this thread is very short and the title implies the same. Do these news stories really pertain to the thread under that circumstance?
