SPX gap filled. H.O.D is 88.75, so far.

I don't know if a full down gap fill is bullish or bearish, but that level appears to be acting like a magnet now.

That would be the close (1398), but SPX did trade to 1293 (lows of the day) on the 5th. Depends on how you define a full gap fill I guess.

SPX gap on the 9th almost completely filled, full gap fill should be at around 88.5.

ES never traded anywhere close to 96 on the 12th. The is a huge cash gap on the 9th, SPX will have to trade to 98 to fill it.

I don't see any gaps on the 13th... I do see a huge gap that has't been fully filled, but thats the cash gap (where 90% of the gaps are). Edit: cash gap is on the 9th.

I think this is going to go much lower than 1350. Still lots of complacent bulls buying TFD now.

Earnings do not matter... otherwise the Nasdaq wouldn't have gone to 5k back in 2000.

To me the gap down today below 14/3's RTH low is a bearish development, I'd be very surprised to see an up day today. Edit: Wrong date

Daily chart looks very bearish to me, but the market isn't really selling off, I wonder who is buying now...

Did Altucher fail as a trader?

James Altucher doesnt trade, he is a buy and hold investor. I have to say I agree with him (most of it at least), its almost impossible to know where the market will go in the near future because its pretty much random. Trading direction is extremely tough and most traders do that, this is why...

Dow closing well above 13k and Naz above 3000 should make a great headline, bet the mom and pop investors will be calling their brokers to get back in to the market very soon.

Could still go lower... 10 was the lowest before the 2008 meltdown. I think daytrading is pretty much pointless if volatility continues to sink, the R/R is simply not worth it.
