woot woot battled back 210 in the AH. Still lost. had erroneous orders on my part. bleh.

I was up, but I was up $500, went to $100, back to $500, back to $200, back to $400, back to $100. I lost from my high on the day. Still green is better than red.

I blew my day up 3 times. The third time I didn't get a chance to make it back. Very unhappy :mad: :mad: :mad:

A bit of a struggle was down all morning. Even though it's not much money I'm happy.

slow all day, was basically flat... the bottom stock i lost 218 in, that was a keyboard error accidentally put in a 20k buy order at offer and hit out... had i held it i would have gotten creamed, still sucked. Was very happy to be green at the close.

I'm pretty sure most serious daytraders don't use hard stops, but manual stops and hit out when the trade is against them. If your timeframe even resembles scalping you don't want to use stops...

Doesn't really seem like a big deal. So NASDAQ and BATS do this, but no one else... that's really not enough to create an accurate profile. Whether a reserve order is a buy or sell is fair information to display - I can usually figure it out anyway (all you have to do is test it, sell 100...

Sterling is indeed shitty software but Laser is not and works well after FED meetings, etc.

I started at a place like that. I got beat pretty badly, but I learned how to trade, and was able to go off on my own to another firm and pay drastically reduced commissions, where I was able to make money. If you can get trained how to make consistent gross p/l, even if the comms eat it up...

Lescor is right. $5k/month is nothing... $5k for 4 months into the year means barely making any moves. Not sure what my YTD comm is but probably don't want to know :).
