even though earnings have been very good, i'm [now] wondering if all those FB shares outstanding, from the very large IPO, are starting to weigh on upward movement of the stock price the EPS is now [only] a little over $2 per share, which is about what MSFT is... AAPL is about $8.50, IBM over...

i suppose it could be - sort of generally speaking, trading is a [daily] time involved activity, and investing is a buy and hold, and wait or watch activity... [you are paid for your time, with trading] marc :cool:

trading [vs investing] takes lots of time, at the computer; so you better at least like it, if not love it this subject reminds me of when i used to play poker: I was making money, but i sure as hell wasn't making a very good living so, i suspect some are making money, but not enough to...

let's not forget, the more taxes you pay, the more you make [at least in theory] so, let's hope you have to pay Lots of taxes o_O marc :D

well, i'm thinking of the words isis, isil, al keda, etc etc everyday we [the media] uses the above words; but doesn't it give them a [brand] name, that might help them recruit more terrorists? 1. it sounds like al keda [they could simply call it terrorism, if desired] 2. no one has claimed...

the longer term solution, is to simply outlaw the Manufacture of Handguns [this way we can leave the 2nd amendment alone] rifles are ok, because they are much harder to conceal, and can be used for those who want home protection there are just too many Handguns floating around, for kids etc...

i heard, or read somewhere that, you can sue anybody for just about anything winning is another matter :banghead: marc :cool:

i think the difference may be, people who put their Money on the line, with a wager, can be vastly different, than people who are [sort of] just voicing an opinion, reflected in Polls... marc :cool:

i can identify with your experience(s) i also read "Nothing" years ago i've been reading the talks in "Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind", on and off for years [plus other books on him] marc :D
