Here is a trade I closed last week... USO from 76-86...rode the Crude push to and exited at crude $126... USO up 13% my Calls were 100% at exit... 2 hour chart confirmed with the daily.

first off... Yippie, crude has been even as high as 130 since the futures opened 4 hours ago. Not sure how.. but on my TDA charts it shows a price of $85 for USO. USO is an ETF and should not trade until 4am EST. Am I missing something here?

Needless to say, my Calls on Crude are going fabulous. I use USO to trade... I watch UCO, but you do not get the performance on the options to warrant the additional risk, volatility, ATR, etc... anyway, Crude hit $116 today briefly, USO hit $80 and held thru after hours. Russia/Ukraine...

exactly!!! but hey,, all the little retail investors think they can get that all correct. The real issue is why options are so attractive, it is the possibility of making alot of $$ from a small amount put up. Just like the big come on for Forex.

I have seriously developed a stupid attraction to options... sure I can have a 80% winner, but how many of my options expire worthless. I have read alot about retail traders having no chance to win at options, but that attraction is so high.
