It depends on what you mean by TA. I trade simply on news and other sort of intraday catalysts and I look at charts to make sure I'm not very late on the move but I don't use any of the ridiculous crap like RSI/MACD/Keltner/Crystal Ball/Astrology junk.

He definitely is a bad trader in the short term, his timing is not very good, but he has patience and conviction in his angles and they work out far more often than they do not. He is truly one of the best in the business.

Idiots that go heavy into a stock based on "technical analysis" and nothing else and get caught in a takeover or some seriously negative overnight news.

If you're trading based on RSI, MACD, Stochs... etc.... give up before you lose your shirt... don't let the part time paper traders fool you, markets are based on news and fundamentals.

I saw it last night and I really liked it. Those who are not well versed financially may have some problems understanding some of the lingo but overall it should be popular amongst a wide spread crowd.

That seems interesting for some I suppose but I wouldn't want something autotrading off news, interpreting the news and not just the simple #'s is far more valuable.

If you trade mainly based on news/catalysts reply to this thread or PM me. It's always good to speak with other news traders and get the color from others on catalysts going around and help each other interpret the news. I've been trading news for almost a decade... no TA traders welcome :)
