For those of you following along, you now know that I out-smarted myself on the last set up. After some heat, it moved 3+ points. (sigh) SUB, where's that damned phone number!!!

I didn't write them down - it was just 3 in and out "trading scared" trades. One lost 37.5, one lost 87.5, and one was a B/E/ As for the last set up, it came at about 2:46' BTW - the original trade would have worked (the 1:45)

Another "short skirt" is setting up as I post this @837. I will not take it because of a 10 day EMA sitting just above - and the fact that I am still disgusted with myself. Need to calm down and regroup...you know how it is...

So I took the nap I had threatened to take, and the market started to move. (it always does) I get up just in time to see a "short skirt" setting up around 1:45 @831 - I entered, as per the rules, sweated for a while, but was rewarded with a 3 point profit. See, it works, and I can indeed...

...so much for the top, but what about the bottom? Oh never mind - I don't think that I really want to know. But nice work in this market.

I am aware of the technique, but have never really looked at it. Have you had success trading it?

I’m beginning to feel an early afternoon nap coming on – a virtual guarantee of a lunchtime move. But the slop and chop is getting to me... At this point (10:50) the NQ seems to hold some promise...

You could stretch s point and say that there is a set up on the one-minute chart @ 815 (10:31) - but the higher time frames are not really cooperating. Today is one of those “I feel antsy, I want some action” days. But... (and a good thing – it would have lost 3 points)

At this point (10:15) the hourly trend remains down, the fifteen-minute is flat, and the five-minute is all over the place. So taking any "short skirt" set ups would be just guessing. I ain't good enough at guessing...so I'll wait for better signals...(sigh)

Good point... But all you have to do is take all but the last one...what could be easier:)
