    Currency question

Yes it is volcanic but not sure they've had anything go off recently. I know Iceland have. The appeal of the Canaries is that they are warm year round and so good chance of high occupancy vs the rest of Europe.

    Risk Management is the answer

Risk management is ultimately what you can control. Attempts at controlling the profit you make by taking more risk is account suicide.

    Currency question

Have a friend who just bought up 5 properties in the Canaries. Cheap as chips out there at the moment.

5 Things I have learned in 5 years of trading!

Why do you say that? Are you now bearish long term?

    Currency question

Yes if the low on EURUSD is broken I think. That's our opinion though.

    Currency question

Agreed and if we head that way we could be looking at DXY heading up towards the 117 level we saw around the same time we saw 0.87 EURUSD.

    Currency question

EURUSD needs to see a reaction here really and make a HL on the daily. Personally I expect to see the low broken and a continuation of the bearish structure we have seen for the last 18 months or so. Just my opinion though.

'Big Short' investor Michael Burry sold all but one of his stocks last quarter

I stand corrected! Happy to learn when shown. Clearly I went on the narrative that he's a prolific short seller. That being said the man can call a crash well!

Mark Cuban Gets Sued For ,,Almost Risk-Free Coin"

So irresponsible to say the words "risk free" relating to any type of investment let alone crypto. What did he expect?!

India's stock market king dies at 62

Not so much the amount of money but expectation of others for you to get x% ROI on it. If it was all your own money then it's same as any smaller amount with more zeros.

To Everyone saying Bitcoin will go to 10k or 5k....

I still think there is an imbalance on the daily left around 12k but I'm happy to see it head up. I'd want to see it break past 28k and really the range it created around 30k to be properly bullish on it though.

India's stock market king dies at 62

This is the thing isn't it. Managing that much money must be stressful. If you can afford yourself freedom of time and self reliance then that is all I need.

Best currency pair to trade during the day

For me this depends on where you live and your time availability. In the UK we are quite lucky to have the London and NY sessions smack in the middle for us. As such I like to trade EURUSD, GBPUSD mostly. I tend to use EURGBP as a gauge to see which of the two other trading pairs are likely to...

    Mindset

I think a fixed mindset is unhelpful when it comes to trading as it is based on notions of believing you are important and talented and this lack of humility will likely get you burnt in most markets you attempt to trade in. Being humble and accepting the need to learn and study is vital to...

Brokers recommendation for high deposit bonus?

I agree with going down the prop firm route than seeking broker bonuses. These are much like bookie or casino bonuses where if you read the T&Cs they will probably say somewhere that the bonus isn't meant to be used to actually make money with. As such half of them have obscene roll over...

    Gold Buy Op's

Good idea getting some off the table. I think we may sail through the supply zone here with the recent US economy news.

IB Now Needs Passport or Drivers License?

Sounds like the standard KYC a lot of brokers require now. I suppose with IB being around for so long it's not something longtime users will have had to deal with but is something enforced on them by regulators from what I understand.
