I am short goog right now with no profit or loss. I did the trade from a technical standpoint but i didnt get out at the right time. I don't know what I should do now (whether I should wait for the earnings or not). Any Suggestions?

From a technical standpoint, it was a good idea. It was right at a .618 fib retracement and was very overbought. It could not move too much higher plus it was meeting resistance. A good short IMO (soley from a chart perspective) which is why i took it at 512

question (maybe a stupid one): Why doesn't goog have a beta?

I am short goog at 412.31 but purely from a technical standpoint. It looks like a pretty decent top is forming. It was very overbought, too. anyways, I think I am going to cover before the earnings call because its very possible that they report a good number - its not worth the risk
