Chop chop... Gotten in a bit of a rut lately, looking to break out of it tomorrow :D

-720 on 92500 shares (no blotter, system was down EOD). Doing ok most of the day until I kicked my own ass by accidentally getting massively long on TRAD. Absolutely no liquidity, just sitting there hiding on every bounce hoping to keep my loss to a minimum. It could have been a lot worse, so...

Had some big swings today, but still ended up with little loss from the top. I'll take it for a Friday.

Another wasted day... my usual strategies were trash today, but I managed to make 700 on IVAN up until a slow execution system caused me to lose all of what I made. :mad:

Systems up... systems down... I'm going to get the hell out before I go red today folks. Hopefully everyone else had a better day.

Got spanked by RHAT right at the open... luckily I culled my loss by getting out ASAP but it still hurts.

Stuck to my plan and got out of my 'rut'. Made up for the past 2 days of losses, so I'm pleased with the day.

Done for the day. Took a whack on MOGN, and had a few lapses in discipline that turned a positive morning negative. Boy I wish my power was out! :D

I believe he's talking about a 'true' prop shop where you are trading 100% of the firms capital (ala Swift). Although, yes, he could just throw down 5k and get the buying power to start at one of the firms you mentioned.

All stocks priced above $1 no longer allow shaving on ISLD. I've heard that they are looking into removing this *only* for the QQQQ, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Yeah take your time bud, there's always going to be markets to trade. Go out, get a job, save up for a few years and then try your hand with some disposable cash. You don't want to be trading anytime soon after blowing up an account; just digest what happened, and devise a plan over the next...

I short all day using both ARCA & ISLD. I believe that there also is a list of stocks (around 1000?) on the SHO pilot program that you can short without an uptick (I'm assuming with any ECN).
