    Tony Romo is Done, Good!!!

Well, he has the toughness. About 3 years ago, after he broke some ribs, he played through the game and possibly the next one while he was still recovering. He's a tough guy. Romo is a good QB. He has been a Cowboy for 13? years. It's just that every year there is a different problem. It's...

World Bank to issue SDR bonds in China for first time

What is the significance of this? Are they issuing the bonds to preserve their foreign currency reserves which has declined over the last few years? Or, did they do it for political reasons that might not be so obvious? Because their national debt to their GDP is 43% and the U.S. is 104%...

    Google News

Normally, I use Yahoo as a search engine. I've used it for years and it's what I am familiar with. I like the way the news is headlined on the front, with links for mail, sports and finance. But, the damn thing seems to be as slow as molasses lately. Whenever I click on Finance, it takes a week...

Thanks for your help. Barchart is what I had last time. I recognize it now.... Maybe that is why I couldn't find it on the CBOE.........lol

Questions about Contract Sizes and Learning Material.

I had a link that listed the trading sizes for every contract. It listed all the contracts traded, the value of each contract ( barrels of oil, bushels of wheat, ounces of gold) and the investment ratio of the minimum investment to the contract. I was going to research it the other day but it...

Cisco ONLY laying off 14,000 employees....

H1-B's should be illegal. If the U.S. does not have enough engineers, raise their salary and the demand will meet supply. I get tired of hearing that companies hire H1-B's and the loyal employee that has been with the company for 10 years has to train their replacement. Then he gets laid off...

The odds of day trading yourself to a profit are lower than you expect"

Well, if it's wrong.......... it's wrong. Failure is always bad, but only if you don't learn from it. College gives you the opportunity to learn something new, expose yourself to new ideas, improve your socializing skills, question established ideas and question authority when you learn about...

The odds of day trading yourself to a profit are lower than you expect"

That just reconfirms what I have always heard...... 90 percent of traders lose 90 percent of their money within 90 days. and 80 percent of people lose their initial investment, 10 percent break even and the remaining 10 percent make the money the 80 percent lost.

    Life in Venezuela

The only crime that they are trying to prevent is the premature death of Maduro and his corrupt friends. I can't see this lasting much longer. I wonder how much support Maduro has in his country.

    $TSLA

I am aware of the stats. I hope he survives because he would win like David won against Goliath. I don't want to see anyone lose their job. Tesla deserves to have a much lower share price than it does, but I don't want to see it go bust. If it was Chinese...sure..... bust away:).....but not...

Yes, that is quite impressive. For Ford or anyone else. Will they be a strong competitor, Yes and No. If / When they come out with one, the people loyal to Ford will consider an electric car over Tesla because Ford has been around for 100+ years, they have dealerships everywhere and people...

10 habits of a Good Trader

Is that the same TENS unit that is used for muscle therapy? Someone suggested I try one to relax with...meditation. I keep seeing remarks about journaling my mistakes and attitudes, not just the reasons for a trade and the individual trade. I need to try that. @Jamie.........I wish I could...

Ohio's DoC closes down trading room, well, almost

He can't even lie correctly. On his website he promises 3.5 % returns a month and 42% a year. If you accumulated growth at that rate you would have an annual return of 55?%, not 42. Because you would be returning 3.5 percent in January, then 3.5 percent of 103.5 in February etc.....It's closer...

Yeah, and he kept getting bigger. Then, he went from books to everything else and now he has added movies. The difference between Bezos and Musk is that Bezos was basically financing his growth by expanding his product line and selling lots and lots of discounted, best selling books. He...

I'm losing money and can't stop. How do you be patient?

+1 This is true. But it's harder to do than taking a vitamin or flossing. There are so many distractions and extraneous thoughts going through your head, it's hard to stay focused sometimes. It's harder to retrain your Mind than it is your body. When you said to keep a journal, what did you...

    The Cult of TESLA

I agree with much of what you say. Musk has Trump's flair for self promotion. Earlier this year he said that he was going to sell 90K cars but he was only producing 20-30,000 a year. I think he only had 1 assembly line running and he was working on the second one. But he was producing the...
