    TEVA puts

I agree that a 2600 option sweep should be normal for a medium company sized company like TEVA, especially given the fact that the overall transaction was less than 20k USD. However, probably the seller was an istitutional one, because the retail is not allowed to sell such an amount of options...

    Selling Options at Institutional Levels

I would be very interested in understanding a little bit more on how selling option premiums is handled at institutional levels. I mean, when you see a big initial selling of a given option who are the players usually involved? Is it more often a single order order or it is combined with one or...

    Open interest change

Sorry for being not so clear. Buy to open and sell to open.

    Open interest change

I am a little ashamed to ask, but I found out that I don't have an answer to a very basic question on open interest. If buyer A buys 30 options from the market maker and seller B sells 15 contracts of the same option to the market maker, the open interest is +45 or +15?

Chasing stocks with massive call options going off.

One think I didn't have the patience or the timing to do was to follow his recommendation to close the position when it was down more than 40%. So, I often lost all my money. Anyway, now I am following my personal scanner, still with mixed results, but l hope too to keep improving what I get.

Chasing stocks with massive call options going off.

I was a subscriber too for a couple of months, then I quitted because I lacked the patience to follow step by step his input. Also, not all his calls were right. However, definitively the guy knows what he is talking about.

Chasing stocks with massive call options going off.

That's absolutely true. Even big shots may fake some action. Watch this very instructive video by Felix Frey: https://optionsgeek.com/podcast-episodes/fake-gamma-squeeze-with-tsla-put-options-dont-be-fooled/

Chasing stocks with massive call options going off.

Congratulations. We all believe you are a great trader: no need to post your account. However, what we are trying to understand here is how to discriminate between 'good' signals (the ones you posted) and the 'fake' ones, (like the one I posted). In my experience, the latter ones largely...

Chasing stocks with massive call options going off.

No. I buy the Times&Sales data from a vendor (iqfeed). Then, I scan them for unusual option activity.

    Exercised out-of-money options

I remember someone mentioning that sometimes out-of-money options are still being exercised, probably because of the reason to buy a considerable amount of the underlying shares at a fixed price. We also learned recently here the painful experience of a fellow trader being exercised because of...
