Well, for the time being I'm sticking with the letter of the law, as it seems safer for me!

ARD's not in dry-up today, nor is it a Bruno R candidate.

Looks like Wealth Lab's web site data finally caught up.

I noticed that as well. The data at the Wealth Lab web site must not have fully updated for some reason. All the more reason to just download WL Developer and run scans on your own data. Today's dry-up based on a scan using yahoo finance historical data: BNT CNTF CTHR FORD GROW...

One of my many failings is that I become wed to positions. I'm gradually learning to not get attached but let the losers go and not look back. Just take the losses and keep your head down waiting for the next opportunity. I'm one of those guys who keeps old losses on a quotetracker watch...

Hehe, damn straight spyder. Mea culpa. I'm now back in cash, waiting for the next signal!

Yep, I just took the opportunity to bail outta the CKCM position I took like 2 weeks ago. A small loss for me so I'm happy. CKCM's volume for the day is very low compared with its average volume. I'm not sure how much to read into this.

Jack's documents are interesting and full of information. But man, they remind me of trying to read the New Testament from the original Greek scrolls.

TWGP turned up as a Bruno R setup for today in my scan. Is that why you're in it spyder? (If yes, that means I'm "lookin for love in all the right places")

Hey spydertrader et al, is it my imagination or are we in a dry period right now? Seems like I have only had a couple of solid, clear signals I actually took for the last week or 2. Before I started actually trading these things it seems to me that there were days where reports on this...

Hey there spydertrader I really liked your video (that's you, right?). It's a biiiiiiig file but worth watching. One thing that I hadn't pulled into my thinking was how to use the score. Up to now I've been just scanning the FU every day for dry-ups and taking trades on the normal entry...

Remember that Jack's "Beginner Rockets" document is not the same as the "Rockets" we've been discussing here. It's a separate approach to trading index futures. I asked Spydertrader about this a few days ago in this thread. A side note: The "Beginner Rockets" document is actually very...

I'm still in CKCM myself. Like an undisciplined idiot, I didn't exit on the 5% trailing stop yesterday like I should have. It may bounce today and I'll take the opportunity to get out on better terms. In any case I'll be out of CKCM today; the 4 day time stop is today.

The RS ranking in stocktables isn't the same as RSI. RS ranking is how a stock's price action stacks up against all others. Then they're ranked in percental ranks.

I got a signal on GROW and decided to pass on it due to "funny tummy feelings". Maybe I'm thinking too much but I didn't like how the initial triggering volume build-up wasn't sustained. The fact that I guessed right (it dropped in price) may only be a coincidence.

So it sounds like the same final universe stocks we use for the normal Hershey trading are the same for rockets. The difference is that these are final universe stocks where the stoch has plunged to < 20%? Also aren't the "Bruno R" and "High Noon" postings the same?

Spydertrader's Jack Hershey Equities Journal II

Spydertrader, would you say that the rockets described in the Bruno R post have to meet the same criteria as the regular Hershey equity method? i.e. price, float, volume, eps rank, rs rank. Also, should the rockets have rank a la the equity rank scan in wealth-lab? Jack was somewhat vague...

I've unsuccessfully dabbled in index futures so this begs the question: does Jack's info about futures trading have legs? There hasn't been much discussion about this topic, only stock trading. His "Beginner Rockets" document is interesting and seems well thought-out.
