This still could be a sub wave iv, We EW'er's often count to fast so its something to be aware of.. :) Otherwise its part of a lesser W wave ( prefered option)

Oh the old Armstrong pi cycle chart. Shame the guys been in jail for the last 7 years  for defrauding Japanese investors and refusing to turn over $15m in gold bars and coins he is supposed to have hidden away from his gold mail order scam. :D :D

Could you expand on this ? I do like proportion and everything is with-in classic 161.8% to 261.8% ranges. The wave 3 could very well be the completion of an A wave which would make the whole structure a little more proportionally balanced. :) I still carn't get a clean 5 wave top in Feb...

A chart always helps of that extended 5th option :D I personally don't like the fact that sub wave 1 is longer than the next higher degree subwave i in this case.

On your count it would only be a wave 3 top in your Feb 08 time slot ? If you place the a wave 3 where your wave 1 is, you could have an Extended 5th wave that would fit your time horizon as a top. I tend to use the rule that the first wave of a subdivision should not be longer than...

No Frost and Prechter .....I'm shocked :D :D :D I've not seen many out side the box counts yet, rtstrading doing something a little different, Mu also covered that option a good few pages ago. :) How about the whole move from the Aug 04 low (rtstrading wave 2 low on that last chart)...

Rob the slight problem I have with your wave 5 high on the 11th of October is, the structure off the August 16 low going into that 11th Oct high is only made up of only 3 waves. Unless your doing an Irregular Top count,(in any case the 5th wave must be labeled as the July 19th high.) The 3...

Elovemer have a read of page 127* onwards of Frost Prechter's EW book. Most Elliott Wavers miss the importance of this. The first bench mark of any correction is the length of the first correction. In Yesterday's afternoon example it was +7.5. If following corrections are equal to or...

Always be careful when the price Overbalances its last ALT correction.. It went +8.25 which is a big warning flag that something is up. I know I bang on about ALT's but there are used like Traffic lights by Traders. :)
