Legging-in is just trying to get a better price for entries. The rest will need to come from selling premium on weeklies or trading shares (gamma scalping).

Lol. Respectfully, I disagree. I've been saying from the beginning that I want a lottery ticket. Now that I got it, I can't complain that it's indeed a lottery ticket - very low odds bet. I still have 18 DTE left and TSLA is one crazy stock :) Seriously though, this journal is not about...

    Strange Order Fills

I assume 5K is large for this stock? They are trying to see if the order is firm or if it will be pulled as soon as it starts trading. If you want to get filled, don’t put large orders out there to be seen.

No, pegged orders are hidden orders and do not affect the NBBO.

Using a stop loss on the underlying chart while trading options?

If your premise for the trade was that hitting that price level, even for a second, invalidates the trade, then sure. But, imho, the reason to use options on the long side (besides leverage) is precisely to avoid being stopped out by noise. You sized the options trade for the worst-case...

    Black Swan Hedging

I think what you are describing is hedging in a context of actively trading. If you are trying to hedge black-swan, you are not going to worry about normal 10-15% corrections. You are hedging for a disaster, which would be done with lots of DOTM options, imo. Being delta neutral all of the time...
