Maybe it's just me, but the RTH range is still 38 points today which is substantial, yet it feels like a choppy low volatility market. Today had two nice major moves in RTH. If you didn't nail those down, you could easily get chopped up. Same thing yesterday. Why 2 more days of chop? Month...

ES is commonly used for hedging, no? If so, does a 3-4K dump have any inherent meaning or influence on future direction?

4 point loss. Wasted session. Missed the Open and ended up trading chop from 11:00-12:00 and missed the other fine moves.

If NQ shits the bed here at Friday's LOD - a drop into the Close seems more likely. NQ's been such a drag lately.

What does your crystal ball have for a target? Not sure this day have much more on the table today, but could get one of those 'surprise' pumps to close green at least.

I see a small chance this can juice to the highs in the last hour. Probably not, though. SPX 18.05 points from all time highs this morning? Seems odd to me to not see at least a small pop above for month end, but who knows...

Next Friday marks the end of August. This week saw a lot of range bound days after a 519,25 point monster pump on ES, but the bears didn't have much success trying to bring the market down. Every freaking dip was bought. As of Friday's Close, SPX is up 2,03 % on the month. A green August...

FED days are usually wacky. Quite the roller coaster today. Should be more interesting to see what's in store for next week. Overall, the trend up seems to be going strong still. Next week marks the end of August.

Closed out my final long at 47 as I was uncertain if there was any more punch left in this. Looks like this might squeeze above for new weekly highs after all. NQ's been such a drag lately. Feel like it's been holding back all day while ES have really wanted to get going.

Maybe I'm delusional, but I still think today can hit ATHs if we get moving above yesterday's range. 5725. Most likely only a pop above, but you never know in this market.

By analysis and relief, I was referring to my own TA/SA giving good odds of a price recovery @Overnight :) I have no idea about the FED. Probably some whipsaw during the speech? Or even a non-event?

Stop at 99. That may have been the Globex low already. Surprisingly dull Open after that sell.
