    Intraday trading

Hi Gifropan, Good idea. Filters you said they reduce number of trades and not neccessarily give better results. YET me and many others still use them. Why? Because its tightens the distribution of the possible returns. And that's something very important in my opinion. Another way...

    How do you daytrade?

Trading software is it worth it?

Hi flats, Firstly, software will not turn an unprofitable trader into a profitable one, and it will not increase the profit of an already profitable trader. What it do, however is give a trader the CONFIDENCE to be able to trade a strategy through producing a BLUEPRINT and a BENCHMARK as...

What method gives best chance for profit?

Thanks for your offer. But my systems are always well tested. Naturally, one of the (many) tests for robustness is to compare the results against those taken randomly. The difference was significant and showed that the system clearly had an edge. All the details about how i tested my...

What method gives best chance for profit?

I agree but i think its not an absolute measure. BUT its important to test across a statistically significant number of trades. My weekly system generates about 40 trades a year. If I wanted to test it over 20,000 trades, i would have to go back to the 1500s LOL ;)
