-90 today. As soon as I enterd the order I knew that it was a mistake. Back to break-even. I am getting tired of looking at charts and I don't think this is for me. I will give 1 last shot tomorrow and see how it goes, so if I get stopped out tomorrow I will be down about $130 including...

I have no idea. After a break-out or a break-down, I want to see the price just stay there and not pullback much and the MA to approcach the price. All I need to do is be a little patient and let the trade come to me.

-$100. I am not following my own rules that I had tested for the past few months. After a break-out or breakdown, I was supposed to wait and let the price just hang there but I am not doing so. I guess live and learn. Still positive for the week since I won't be trading tomorrow.

+90 going long on a down day. At 11.30 - 12cst both the ES and YM closed lower I never got the pullback to go short. I used a trailig stop as ES approached the morning high and it was a good decision.

Here is today's chart. On the left I have YM and on the right I have ES. On the YM chart at (1), the MA was 11183. I had a buy limit at 11183 and stop at 11163. I got filled but the price went down. I got a little scared and exited at 11168 then the market rallied. The price never went to my...

Thanks for your suggestion. I guess if I hadn't exited on the first trade, I'd have re-entered again when ES was at 1253 and YM was at 11230 with a 20 point stop. My goal on that was 100 points which I could have had easily. I had already made 2 mistakes and did not want to trade more than 3...

Here are the trades from today. Made $115 before commissions. The first exit was a mistake because I had a stop in place and decided to exit out of the losing position. The price never got to my stop point. Second trade was exactly as planned. Third trade was a mistake because YM was...

In order to determine which is stronger, I look at the change in YM vs ES. 1 ES points = 10 YM points. So if ES is up 3 points and YM up 40 points I know YM is stronger and vice versa.

I haven't done any back-testing but have watched the market for the past few months and the results were outstanding. The type of the order depends on the situation. For example, say I got a buy signal and am waiting for the pullback. Entry If the YM is stronger than ES, I'll put a...

Looking back at the charts from the past few months, I think it is better to exit a winning trade as soon as YM is up 50 points or ES is up 5 points, whichever comes first. For example, if you look at yesterday's chart when ES was down 5 points, YM was down 40 points and that's where we would...

So what do you guys think.... can I do it? What are the things that I need to consider since I have very few shots available? One of the things that I was thinking about was using a trailing stop of 1 YM point for every minute that I am in the trade. So if I have a profit of 30 points and I'm in...

I have noticed that when prices penetrate the BBs the third time, it is ready for a pause or reversal. I tried coming up with a divergence strategy based on that but the result was 50/50.

I just tried different settings and by the time the price reaches 2 std. we would have missed a lot so I use 1.5 std. It can be changed in any charting program. The reason for using 13 period is because there are 13 - 30 minute periods in a regular trading day. I have 50 points as a first...

Here is how the day would have been today. At (111) in the ES chart the MA was at 1262.25. So we'll sell YM when ES got to 1262.25 (1111), at that moment YM was at 11275 (1111 in YM chart). If we were to close the trade at the close we'd have 40 YM points. In ES it was possible to get 5 points...

Thought about moving the stop too but in the past few months since I've been watching the market, I would have been stopped out more often than not. I do not trade everyday and I am trading a high-probability set-up so I'd rather get out at a target. The only trailing stop that makes sense...

Here is today's set-up. Since the volume is low and the spread is 4 pts. in YM, I am not trading today. At 00.00 - 00.30 ES closed above the BBs but YM did not so this is invalid break-out. At 1.30 - 2.00 both ES and YM close above the band so this is a valid break-out for our purpose...
