THe old system has about 30 objects, after three weeks hard work, now my new system has over 100 objects with different studies. The end result is very simple. Buy/sell signals will be displayed on chart with clear marks.

I do a lot tweaking daily, this was one of the template I used on MACDs or the chart you saw. http://tinypic.com/view/?pic=k1fnmh For the past three weeks, I've made more changes. I've changed MACD to much smaller periods (25 50), I also tested to use Hull MA as the end point for MACDs...

    Charlotte, North Carolina traders

If they play the way they did against Giants and Falcons, Panthers have a good shot to the superbowl! Don't count the Panthers out. Of course, Fox and the team should be more prepared for the Bears game this time. Go Panthers!!

Today's real time simulation on ES, didn't exactly traded according to the chart on exits, just try to make 1 point after an entry. 235 winners and 5 losers, average gain $45 after commission.

I worked on another rule which uses stochastic, MACD, CCI, RSI MOMO and created a color bar, sometimes, too many indicators to watch, it is hard to make decision. This one removes most noises, compare it with the bars in the indicators. http://tinypic.com/view/?pic=jfkp6v

Nope, this is not the software listed over that website. It is not automated trading system, though one day I would try to accomplish this goal. I've not posted here much since I switched to trade ES on a new broker plus changed tick to Volume in TA due to CME's policy change on tick feeds...

Am I responsible for faulty Trademaven?

I feel you brother. For the past couple weeks, the combo had made some nightmares for many scalpers in critical trading hours. They rebooted their system maybe once or twice a day during the regular trading hours. It forced me to stop scalping frequently and had to trade on longer...

    Enough Capital???? Whats your experience?

Well, don't laugh. It all depends on what you're trading, your trading style and strategy, your mental toughness, and how your system works. Made 4 conservative trades Friday with the capital requirement of $2K - made $1600. http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=927845...

    Enough Capital???? Whats your experience?

Interesting topic. I'll open a new account for my son with $3K in it and see how it works out. I'll use the most conservative approach possible in my trading system - buy or short one contract per play. It is goal-oriented. The purpose is to make 10-15% return daily or make $300-500 daily...

poker player tries his hand at futures trading

Fletch, Welcome to the world of legal gambling. Trading futures is fun and enjoyable if your system is working and your broker has no issues. This former Poker Champion is also a good trader, read his article on trading posted last night, it might give you an idea or two on designing...

These two trades were made based on 667 tick chart. Again, with 3 contracts. The net result is about the same.

Amazing, play the longer timeframe really works. I used 3 contracts and only played the long-trend twice, success ratio is 100%. These two trades were based on 550 tick chart. I've several other trades based on 210 and 667 timeframe. I'll post them too.

ES is extremely bearish. Its downtrend has not reversed for the whole day. Now could be another short opportunity.

Could be a buy around 688.20 78% retracement. ALso, on 667 tick chart, the short-term MACDs are about to touch long-term MACDs, I doubt they would go across. So could be a long entry soon.

Well, amazing, I'm trying to make no more than 6 trades in a day, I just couldn't sit here and do nothing. I like to do the quick one or two point scalpings. 230 tick chart indicates it has more room to go down. Anyway, first trade for me on ER2 today.
