Would you buy a house, anywhere in the US, right now?

<b>Kiwi</b>, you & I have made a lot of money in the markets relying on much less historical data than what many types of U.S. real estate markets have documented literally for centuries and still presumably offer into the future. Agreed? === <i>"Everyone who is an arrogant clueless f*ck...

Would you buy a house, anywhere in the US, right now?

Cutten, please research historical lake property prices for the past 200 years on Finger Lakes NY locations. Show me one bear market in that rela estate... there were none. Same is true for countless other real estate situations away from the insane bubble areas. A bit of research on your...

Would you buy a house, anywhere in the US, right now?

<b>cutten</b>, if your great-grand relatives ever had any lakefront property on Canandaigua (or Seneca, or Cayuga, etc) Lake inside the past 200 years, your inheritence would not allow you to trade financial markets. You couldn't afford to dabble with stocks, had your family tree stretched back...

Would you buy a house, anywhere in the US, right now?

<b>eagle</b>... depends on where & what. If you mean quick flips in the go-go areas, forget it. Raw land, timbered land, waterfront & residential properties in the correct locations? <i>Can't miss</i> profits, over the course of time. No different than this game we play. RIMM is not a strong...

<i>" then perhaps San Fransisco is better suited for what u need..."</i> Are there trophy whitetails and flocks of pheasants out there in SF? Didn't see any when Holly & I visited back in 2004. Fun place to visit, but I'd never live there. Missoula MT would be nice!

<i>"ur racks are only world class till you see ours..in little dental floss bikinies..."</i> Not the least bit interested... unless they are a mile back in the blackwater swamps, with four hooves!

Would you buy a house, anywhere in the US, right now?

<b>http://www.rentalplus.com/aboutus.htm</b> Any properties bought on this lake today (my backyard) will only go one way in value: straight up. That's how it has been for 200 years, and will remain that way until they drain the water out :>) Austin

Would you buy a house, anywhere in the US, right now?

<b>sg58</b>, I drove thru Iowa in August on my way home from Denver. I did notice all of the women working in restaurants, gas stations were rather on the "sturdy" side. Not sure I saw any of them I could bench press these days, to be honest

<b>bjd, </b>I drew a late-season blackpowder tag for Iowa Zone 5. Flying out 12/26 and leaving 12/30 (sooner if we're successful!) to frolick in SE Iowa while the holiday-week charts paint a picture exactly like today's :D

Would you buy a house, anywhere in the US, right now?

<i>p.s. and what does sioux city have to offer besides horse shit...?</i> First-class hunting and fishing. I'll add my own topless babe to the backyard scene. Iowa City would be fine, too... world class racks out there! No interest in any place with more than two traffic lights between...

    YM Traders

Dear <b>Gonz = Buzz,</b> +21 ticks ($5 per tick?) average per each trade is +$105.00 per contract profit. Excellent results! 21 ticks total trades result ~ 12 round turns = $8.75 per contract traded. Minus -$5.00 average emini trade costs, less than half is kept as gross profit before...

LIVE CALLS ON S&P500 e-mini FOR 1 WEEK

<b>Romik</b> and <b>JJ</b>... I like you two guys equally well because I know each of you equally well. I'm sure if we got together for a beer - wine - soft drink, it'd be my pleasure to visit at length. That said, I see my name mentioned earlier in this thread about verifying someone's math...

    Newbie here, need some advice/thoughts

Dear <b>Golf</b>, You seem to be stuck in the common zone of confusion between <i>possible</i> and <i>probable</i>. Yes, it is entirely possible to hit it big with a couple of pennystocks. Even more possible to hit it big with cheap stock or index options near expiration. Long ago, I...

    Time to execute

ES small lots = medium lots are zero slippage and instant fills. Definitely the more orderly symbol (by far) between ES and ER. The NQ is probably smoothest trading of all... also good choice for new (or any) emini traders.

    Time to execute

P.S. - market orders in the ER can be brutal during fast market conditions. I've seen fills come back one full point away from my intended entry when programs kick in. Limit orders only in the ER for me... sooner or later, pure market orders will bite badly in volatile conditions!

    Time to execute

Having traded up to 100-lot ES and 40-lot ER in the recent past, you can expect nil to two-tick slippage on the ES and one - four ticks slippage on the ER with that size. It all depends on volume = open interest available. Yesterday, some of the whipsaws in ER were skipping across two - four...

70% winning break out system for ES

Having written a number of very similar systems myself, I image the following to be highly probable: #1: Any attempt to use stops and/or trailed stops will diminish overall results. The "always in" aspect is designed to catch & hold big winners... many of which emerge from deep in the hole...

Why the need to post PnL, real-time calls, etc?

<i>"EDIT: AP, I just reread your above post, you should think about getting an agent. I can see a good TV series here.:</i> Last off-topic post: Rennick, if you'll screenwrite if for us, we're in business [laugh] Beats the beating I'm taking in ER trades today. Up (long) off the open...

Why the need to post PnL, real-time calls, etc?

<b>Rennick</b>, I look the wrong way all the time. But, I can barely handle the one I got, let alone somebody else's. (laugh) Live & let live... hard enough time managing my own life :p

Why the need to post PnL, real-time calls, etc?

<b>Rennick</b>, three of the ladies whom I've known for many years are friends of my ex-wife (we're still close friends ourselves) and one is a current friend of mine along with her husband as equal friends. I do not condone that type of behavior at all, nor do I judge anyone for their...
