I know most on the thread is purely technical, but with Bernanke scheduled to speak at 1:00 ET, prices might spend time meandering sideways. I don't know if Bernanke's speech is going to be released, but usually it's embargoed until the time of the meeting/speech, then headline hounds start...

FWIW, as the NQ and the ES print new intraday lows, the ER2 is NOT. The ER2 has not displayed reversal yet, but this is potentially encouraging for some sort of a short-covering lift.

thanks for the chart, saliva. in your original post, you never mentioned that the july lows were from 2006. I had mistakenly assumed July 2007.

saliva, I can't see a trendline from July lows to November lows that comes anywhere near 35. can you post chart or explain?
