So today I decided to use booktrader and see if i gain anything of value from reading the price-volume histogram in book trader. I took this screen shot around 10:00 after ES broke new lows and over 30k contracts traded from 1518.25 and 1516.00 and over course book trader histogram shows none...

that is a major edge in a thick market like ES with a relatively large spread (12.5 vs 5/5/10 on nq/ym/er2). googled 'preferred market maker' on google and et and really couldn't find anything.

i enter my orders on ES somtimes like 30 minutes before my bid/ask gets hit and i still don't get a fill sometimes unless price trades all the way thru the bid/ask....so i ask are people cutting the line in front of me??? is this possible??
