Disagree, patience is a virtue, particularly in trading, very good setups can be as rare as a blue moon, but one or two, and you make your month. This is actually a problem with many traders, they think the market is an ATM, market opens, ready to kill it, like a predator, and at 4PM the market...

Excuse me, but this is how the average loser thinks, whether the insanity works or fails. You can do this in SP500, in a company it is pure idiocy unless you are seriously underleveraged ("The minute it hit $15 I bought so many"); which is not the case.

50/50 is acceptable, what matters is fixed risk and appropriate reward.

Strategies are like guns or wives, you just dont share them, unless it sucks then you sell them, like so many con artists out there do.

Every trade I make must have a reward that is at least 2-3x the risk else Im not interested. Ideally 5x, its the best way to beat losing streaks, comm and lower accuracy.

Market sentiment can change with ease at any given time particularly in futures, you make it sound too easy when its not.

Rangy market, not even NFP could get it out of the range, calm before the storm, which way would the wind blow? Does not matter, once it does, follow the wind, if you must predict, look what the trend direction was before it ranged.
