That is cynical but also true. But the bigger point is that they have 34 million individual brokerage account customers who can now buy spot bitcoin in said brokerage account, it’s not a small deal.

How do you rationalize that you say it’s a worthless Ponzi token but it’s actually literally worth $500 billion and was worth over 1 trillion months ago and was worth zero 12 years ago?

I mean it takes some very specific data mining to come to this conclusion. If you bought at the absolute top day in 2017 then held for the whole 80% of the way down then continue to hold 500% up then continue to hold the most recent 70% down then I guess that’s true but come on man no one did...

I think 2018 was too early for governments to do anything (good or bad) so of course the percentage change since that time is large.
