    Actually, if you have a working system there is no emotionality involved at all. it's quite boring. Psychology is only interesting for those who are discretionary, which is cherry picking trades so this doesnt work or for those who are gambling or even those who are simply too leveraged.

    Al Brooks doesn't work because trading is all about automated backtesting of 100's of setups and finding one that works. Al brooks book give you a few setups. thats all. it doesnt teach you how to backtests how to select etc. thus it fails. worst of all, the setups he gives aren't backtested...

    Wow that's crazy. I never have done a drug test for a job here. Or even a full checkup. I think I have had one free checkup (free as in provided by the school) 15 years ago when I was a child, but that's all. I pay €100 euro's a month on health insurance. My last visit to the dentsit cost me...

    I am trading and have found edges come and go, unlike your cushy job. You may want to save up some cash before you start trading based on a year or so profitable edge.

    actually this is real capitalism. corporations are giving handouts to their protectors, the police, so they do their bidding. Just as how they have bribed the government into doing what they want them to do.
