Carlp If you dont need futures check out Quicken Charts. For about 25 bucks you get some really nice charts. I think for 25 you get 5 minute bars minimum but you shouldnt need more than that for swings.

Lately, several times a day my TWS goes pale on me and stalls. I then get a popup saying its logging in. After a few minutes everythings is ok. There is no problem with my isp or connection during these times. This a new wrinkle for me and I dont like it. Anybody else having this problem?

IB had several Globex outages this morning and it took me ten minutes to get a rep. on the phone. I may have to start checking out some other brokers if they dont get their act together pretty quick. Low commissions are nice but they are not everything.

Linda doesnt do much more than mention trin in Street Smarts so I wouldn't buy it just for that. It is a good book tho. I use trin pretty much as F. G. says, as an intraday reference for buying and selling pressure.

Do you have any idea how many people ARE scalping the eminis? I dont know the number but I'l bet its pretty high. I scalp them a lot.

I also had some problems with 2000 and am back to using 98. It is not the total solution for sure.

This is why I asked him how long he had been doing this. Lots of crossover systems work great under certain circumstances.
