Fund the TOS account with plenty of money, and if worse comes to worse, you can buy back the shorts with TOS before the xfer fully takes place. When the shorts make it to your account, they'll just net out.
Curious... if DRJ isn't a member, why is he on the floor of the CBOE so much for "CBOE-TV"
PS... Insideoptions blows.. Buy Cottle... something you can use...
Pretty sure DJ is only is only electronic after hours. Just looking right now, the spread is much wider than YM. DD has almost no volume even during the trading day.
This may or may not help you. I've used it myself, and have no complaints, although I haven't done anything as complicated as you are looking to do.

Its opensource (free).
Nymex contracts are 2.5 mw, these are 1.
Noticed liquidity wasn't really there, but for a while there was a bilat guy making 2 ways for the '09 curve. I think once people get their limits in place there will be some decent volume.
Yes, clearing firms just got the info to allow limits today. I am thinking our clearing firm should have our limits updated for tomorrow.
Its only going to be monthly pieces right now.

The rent-a-cop on on side the building nearly chased me down for taking a picture outside of the building. I think I was on public property from where I was at, but I didn't want to ruffle feathers because I was meeting with Nybot & Nymex people.
Was there a couple of weeks ago. CL pit was dead just like all the others, but there were plenty of people in the options. Don't know if there was much getting done though.
I don't have one myself, but if your up to it, here is quite a bit of data for you to use. You can create one pretty easily.

Choose historical for the product you are looking for.
Don't forget that nymex changed from unleaded gas to RBOB contracts a few years back.
A man after my own heart. They need to kill this horse once and for all.
I can't believe there isn't demand for the ISE water index futures. :)
You have to pay to play, and they don't license much if anything.
I locked in rates in west houston in may/june this year for 14.1 per kw. My rational was that if I wanted to spec on natural gas prices, I would trade NG. Now that gas has come off so much the rates have only dropped to 12-13 ish for fixed price.
You're looking at powertochoose.org right?
Depends where you're at in regards to power. What large city are you in/near? Btw, I can only answer from the wholesale perspective myself, but it might help you gain some insight.
