Who here *doesn't* believe that Obama is doomed?

First, nothing justified the war for me at that time. I would not have gone to war just yet and most importantly, not the way it was done. But it wasn't my call. So, since the case was made and folks agreed, we went. Since we went, I want a solid victory. And unlike the administration, I can...

Who here *doesn't* believe that Obama is doomed?

Just so you know. In Chicago there is an annual parade, Bud Billiken. It runs through the south side of town. Alan was booed the full length of the parade route. Old and young alike! And that had nothing to do with Obama. Moreso the community perception of him and his statements made in town. :)

Who here *doesn't* believe that Obama is doomed?

Interesting. I happen to know Alan and he and I really see eye-to-eye on few issues. And I don't mean the little ones either. I'm accepted in areas and venues across the board that he can only dream of being in. I consider myself more stable, well rounded and able to excel in all environments...

Who here *doesn't* believe that Obama is doomed?

They shoot presidents don't they? I wouldn't be a good candidate. I'd be canceling programs, reading documents, and saying things like, "That doesn't work!" Actually calculating budget numbers and pointing out and eliminating pork. I can use a computer for more than e-mail so that's...

Who here *doesn't* believe that Obama is doomed?

Thanks! I'm just as concerned about his domestic policies and agendas! As much as I don't like war, I'm understanding that we're there in these war possible environments for the rest of my lifetime now in a might-fight capacity. Same for Bosnia, Afganastan, Saudi Arabia, Korea, etc.... and...

Who here *doesn't* believe that Obama is doomed?

Squander, my friend is squander. And that's the piece that I need us all to deal with. You wouldn't mind it because it's local versus overseas. I mind it because it's, squandered! It also requires you to look at it as wasted, that understanding to which I do not subscribe. I don't want to...

    consistent income

Just a suggestion. Get yourself an autotrader program and experiment with strategies that you like. I'd dare say that after about a month or so you'll find a profile/script or two that makes you happy. Then shift about $30k into an active account and study your results. I THINK YOU MIGHT ENJOY...

Who here *doesn't* believe that Obama is doomed?

Obama can do a ton more damage because, it's here that his plans would be put into place! I'm old enough to remember the shifts in the African American mentality as over-help was offered. By that I mean resources without action/active requirements. And it's a mentality shift that Obama touts as...

Who here *doesn't* believe that Obama is doomed?

Axelrod has structured this whole thing and it's he (and to a lesser extent Daley) who will create and control the power. :)

Who here *doesn't* believe that Obama is doomed?

Richie won't take it. But he'll be integral in the ultimate selection. And that's the connection he craves. :)

Who here *doesn't* believe that Obama is doomed?

And knowing Chicago and its political backdoors as we do, this whole thing sings of Daley and the machine. The absence of them in the forefront speaks very loudly to me. The last time a Daley had this type of link was with Kennedy. I'll give you some insight that a friend of mine shared with me...

Nationalize the Oil Companies, Refiners, Shippers, etc

His understanding of what's going on is only surpassed by Obama's. John's only true interest is in making sure his name get's on whatever comes about. :)

What's your average monthly trading profit? and since when?

My autotraders are running between 5% and 5.5% net monthly and I've been using them constantly for the better part of a year and a half. Not stellar by many standards (cap gains at tax time hurts), but I'm content. :)

Obama denies any video showing Michelle 'whitey' rant...

Interesting, but not totally true here. I'm not desirious of a level playing field. It's the hills and valleys in life that weed out the unworthy as well as those willing to settle for mediocrity. The rough terrain helps train for the adversities to come. I just want an OPEN playing field. And I...

Who here *doesn't* believe that Obama is doomed?

Interesting post. I stayed away from this for a while because I wanted to see where it would run. I to am principled, but I will not be voting Obama. And oddly enough for many of the reasons that you cite. Including (and especially) the fact he had no clue about the differences between a Persian...

    a few questions

Edbar is correct about in his insights there. I was a Cool-Trade user for a time as not only an evaluator, but as a hard core script developer for my own benefits. No shilling, just some independent reviewing so that I could objectively make comments from an actual use basis. I found the...

Nationalize the Oil Companies, Refiners, Shippers, etc

Evidencing their lack of knowledge about the industry that they so vehemently despise. There is very little that the average American understands about this discipline, yet because its products are so entertwined in the everyday fabric, they feel compelled to manage from emotion. To scream at...

Obama denies any video showing Michelle 'whitey' rant...

Your argument only works IF the individual puts in the needed effort to be relevant. A lot of things that we in the African American community do are counterproductive to the standard society. Rebels to the end is a substantial battle cry. An example? Ebonics may be cool on the street, in...

A laptop for trading, a good choice ?

I've ben using my laptops as trading platforms for years. I'm more of a short term trader. I've traded on my Dell Latitude C610 and my C840 regularly, wirelessly. You can have multi-monitors there also. I haven't had any drawbacks either. :)
